I have surgery on my birthday, hope to receive everyone’s prayers

Can, a small, scruffy dog with a heart as big as the world, sat in his kennel, his head wrapped in a bandage. Today was his birthday, a day that should have been filled with joy and excitement. But instead, it was a day of pain and loneliness.

Just a few days ago, Can had gotten into an accident. He had chased a squirrel up a tree and had fallen, hitting his head on a rock. The injury had required stitches and had left him feeling groggy and sore.

As the day wore on, Can’s pain began to subside. But the loneliness he felt was just as intense. He missed the feeling of being free, of running and playing. He longed for the company of other dogs, for someone to cuddle with, and someone to love him.

Tears welled up in Can’s eyes. He felt so alone, so forgotten. He wished someone would visit him, to offer him comfort and affection. As he drifted off to sleep, Can held onto a glimmer of hope. Perhaps one day, his pain would heal, and he would find the love and companionship he so desperately craved.
