I know I’m not perfect but today is my birthday, I still hope to receive everyone’s love

Miu was a small, scruffy puppy with a heart as big as the world. Born with a cloudy left eye, she faced countless challenges throughout her life. But despite her disability, Miu remained a cheerful and optimistic soul.

Today was her birthday, a day she had been looking forward to for weeks. She had heard stories from the older dogs at the shelter about birthday treats, belly rubs, and lots of love. Miu couldn’t wait to experience it all for herself.

As the sun peeked over the horizon, Miu bounced excitedly around her kennel. She sniffed the air, her nose twitching at the promise of a special day. Her human, Alex, came out to greet her, a big smile on his face. “Happy birthday, Miu!” he said, scratching behind the puppy’s ears.

Miu wagged her tail furiously, her heart filled with joy. Alex led her outside, where the table was set with a special treat: a big, juicy bone. Miu’s eyes lit up as she sniffed the bone, her mouth watering. She took a tentative bite, and her eyes closed in pure bliss.

After breakfast, Miu and Alex went for a long walk in the park. Miu bounded through the grass, her cloudy eye not slowing her down. She used her keen sense of smell and hearing to navigate the world around her. As they walked, they met other dogs and their humans. Everyone wished Miu a happy birthday and gave her a few pats or scratches. Miu loved the attention and wagged her tail with glee.

When they got home, Miu’s friends, a cat named Whiskers and a hamster named Squeak, were waiting for her. They had prepared a special gift for Miu: a small, squeaky toy. Miu played with the toy for hours, her laughter filling the house.

As the sun began to set, Miu curled up on Alex’s lap, her head resting on Alex’s arm. She was tired but content. Her birthday had been everything she had hoped for and more. She had received love from everyone, and she felt truly happy and special. As she drifted off to sleep, Miu knew that she would never forget her special day.
